With the line up just announced for this years Jazz Festival, one name jumps out of the program for all Latin Jazz fans and Sex and the City fans, that is of course Mitch Frohman. Mitch played Sax for the Sex and the City theme and he was a key figure for 25 years in the legendary Tito Puente Orchestra playing flute and Saxophone, Also a co leader of the Mambo Legends Orchestra and playing with Spanish Harlem Orchestra and Latin legends like Celia Cruz and Eddie Palmieri. He’s also played on 6 Grammy winning records. We caught up with Mitch in Paris and he sends this special message to Hillside Hamlet residents. (Please click on the video to play his message)
